New Documentation Available for Studies on India and China

The following DSDR studies were recently updated:

India Human Development Survey (IHDS) Series

A user guide and revised questionnaire have been added to the IHDS (2005) and IHDS-II (2011-12) study home pages.

The IHDS is a nationally representative, multi-topic panel survey of households conducted in 1503 villages and 971 urban neighborhoods across India. The IHDS series is comprised of IHDS (ICPSR 22626) and IHDS-II (ICPSR 36151).

China Multi-Generational Panel Dataset, Shuangcheng (CMGPD-SC), 1866-1913 [ICPSR 35292]

The CMGPD-SC Training Guide and User Guide are now available on the study home page.

The CMGPD-SC provides longitudinal individual, household, and community information on the demographic and socioeconomic characteristics of a resettled population living in Shuangcheng, a county in present-day Heilongjiang Province of Northeastern China, for the period from 1866 to 1913.
